Given the recent mysterious circumstances of death in Monrovia, which is causing panic amongst the population, as the security institutions work toward ensuring justice by tracking down who be perpetrators we would like to call upon Liberians to demonstrate commitment in collaborating with state security to unravel what happened as opposed to making comments without evidence in relation to the death involving journalist Tyron Brown.
The government is obligated to protect the well being of its people and anything short of that requires condemnation by the people that is why any form of accusation against the government must be taken seriously. Those accusing the government to be in the know as it relates to the gruesome murder of journalist Tyron Brown should equally be willing to prove their allegation beyond reasonable doubt. Not doing so is tantamount to making statement intended to put the people against their government and this must not be tolerated.
That said, the words of Hon. Rufus Neufvell in relation to the death of journalist Tyron Browne has a very serious implication, which must not be placed under the carpet but rather be carefully investigated without bias by statutory bodies responsible. Therefore, we are calling on the former law maker on behalf of the Liberian People to cooperate with state authorities to provide evidence about his allegation that the government of President George Weah is in the know.
Not only are we calling on the former Law maker but every other Liberian who may share similar view and have knowledge about the happening or those who share contrary view about the murderer identity and may have the prove to sustain their grounds. We cannot continue to live in fear so let work together with the security forces to comprehensively resolve these crimes and chart a new path to protect our people against heartless individuals who intent are evil all the time.
Best,
