As of 2005 I merit the Distinguished Leadership Award #Liberia National Police as was conducted by the United Nations Mission in Liberia #UNMIL; then in 2009 I begin Founder & Executive Director Citizen Bureau a non-governmental organization, thereby engaging with the media, interacting with citizens on community tours, conducting community meetings, social events, etc, etc.

More to that, in pursuit to upholding the true values of justice as was stated in my reason, among other things, for joining the New LNP I then Launched Community justice initiative, collaborating with partners in 2013 from West point to Logan Town. I really do care about Police-Citizen Unity as the surest way to achieving Policing goals, and would like to state the need to call on the new government under the dynamic stewardship of his excellency President George Weah to work along side the Citizen Bureau in expanding this initiative, Community Justice in deserving communities.

The goal is to resolve conflict in a fair and transparent way satisfactory to the parties in a country where most of our people can not afford to settle disputes through courts and to enhance police citizen relationship by settling manner offenses as opposed to people languishing behind bars without due process for issues which are resolvable at the community level, with such intervention, that guarantee lasting impact in terms of promoting peaceful co-existence between the parties or neighbors.

Best,

John Kamma

Executive Director
